This certification has six modules which are meant to be covered before attempting the certification exam.The six modules are as follows:
Module 1: Selling with Novell
This module will help you learn about the Novell strategy, and our focus on cross-platform solutions that bring choice and flexibility to your customers. You will also learn how to use the Novell solution-selling process to provide business solutions to your customers as well as how to sell Novell products under our licensing program.
Module 2: Novell Operating Systems and Services
This module teaches you how to solve your customers' networking problems with industry-leading Novell technologies. Learn how your customers can transition to Linux and other open source solutions at their own pace. Novell Open Enterprise Server, SUSE LINUX and the Novell Small Business offerings are discussed.
Module 3: Identity and Access Management
This module will help you build enterprise security solutions for your customers with modular, cross-platform components from Novell. Based on eDirectory, components can be integrated with your customer's existing security system. Novell Identity Manager, BorderManager, iChain, SecureLogin, Novell exteNd and Novell Audit are included in this module.
Module 4: Novell Resource Management This module focuses on the biggest cost of owning a network – management. Learn how policy-driven automation can streamline the management of everything from desktops to servers to handheld devices.
Module 5: Novell Desktop and Collaboration Services
This module introduces Linux on the desktop with Novell Linux Desktop. You'll also learn New ways to help your customers collaborate with mobile workers and improve their business productivity with Novell GroupWise.
Module 6: Tips, Tricks and Upsells
Put your knowledge to work. Apply what you have learned to activities designed to help improve your ability to position and sell Novell technologies.
